The club will weigh you in.  When the scales man arrives at your peg, the requirements are that you take your net of fish out of the water and place your fish in the fishery weigh sling positioned in a cradle by the side of your peg maintaining 2 metres distance away from anyone else.  Should you not be able to take the net out yourself a pre-designated club member will assist you by taking your nets out for you, remembering to maintain the social distance. The scales man will lift your fish from the cradle and weigh them. The weight will be recorded by the club official.  The fish will be returned to the water by the scales man.  Repeat this procedure for each net of fish.

Lodge Farm Fisheries is situated between the villages of Ranskill and Scrooby on the A638 Retford to Bawtry road. We are very easily accessed from the A1.  If travelling on the A1(M) southbound take the slip road marked A614 Bawtry. Drive along the A614 until you come to a right turn marked Serlby, take it. Eventually this road will bring you to a T-junction. Turn left and then right into our entrance.

If travelling northbound on the A1 take the slip road marked A614 Bawtry, then at the roundabout head right to cross the bridge over the A1. Take the A614 and continue as above.

At fishery, go down the lane for 150 yards and turn left after the farm buildings. This is where the cafe is, a car park and where you dip your nets and buy fishery pellets from the nearby bait shed.

The field lake is located after the car pak/cafe (which is on the left) about 30 yards, first on your right. You can park behind pegs 1 to 10 (league 1) but it's a bit tricky getting to your peg so take care as the grass has grown near to the steps where you walk down. Pegs 29 to 38 (League 2) you will need a trolley as the lake is back to back with the signal lake and no car parking behind your peg, parking is at the end of the lake.
