Covid-19 Procedure:
At all times keep at least 2
metres (6 feet 6 inches) from anyone else and wear PPE (personal
protective equipment).
Pay on in the fishery car park
after 8am, please bring exact money, put money in the bucket
provided.
Cost: £12 for anglers who have
paid for their pegs already and £21 for new members recently joined.
Buy bait and fishery pellets
(shop is not open for public access, but served outside by
shopkeeper who will get what you want from the tackle shop and bring
it outside) and you can also get a breakfast sandwich etc from the
cafe through a similar process.
The Draw
At approx 8:40 the draw will
commence for League 2 anglers.
At approx 8:50 the draw will
commence for League 1 anglers.
Please stay in your cars and
drive to the entrance to the ponds, Glenn Archer and Keith Fryatt
will be waiting for you. Keith will draw you a peg out and
Glenn will write down your peg number against your name then proceed
to your peg.
The Match
For the safety of everyone,
please do not vacate your peg to wander around or visit another
angler before, during or after the match.
The Weigh-in
The fishery will weigh you in.
When the scales man arrives at your peg, the requirements are that
you take your net of fish out of the water and place your fish in
the fishery weigh sling positioned in a cradle by the side of your
peg maintaining 2 metres distance away from anyone else.
Should you not be able to take the net out yourself a pre-designated
club member will assist you by taking your nets out for you,
remembering to maintain the social distance. The
scales man will lift your fish from the cradle and weigh them. The
weight will be recorded by the club official. The fish will be
returned to the water by the scales man. Repeat this procedure
for each net of fish.
The Results
At the end of the match please
wait at the fishing ponds entrance in your cars for the payout and
results announcement. You will not be required to get out of
your car, any winnings will be given to you in a sanitised envelope
through your car window by a club official wearing PPE.
