Venue Specific
Buy fishery feed pellets from the tackle shop.
Breakfast/food and drink are available at the onsite cafe.
70 lbs net limit
(bring plenty of keepnets)
- Tom is strict and will knock you back if you go over this limit or
wipe out your net.
My rule of thumb
is try and estimate your weight of each fish and use a clicker to
accumulate the weight and don't go over 55lbs per net.
The Draw
The draw will be
inside
the cafe as a rolling draw between 8am and 8:30 am. Please
pay on well before this time please. This
website will be updated with the results after the match, peg numbers
and anglers will be posted to the Auld Yorkshire Tykes Facebook page
after the draw. Both Ash and Beech will be in the draw bag and
thus you could be on either lake. Good luck and enjoy the day!
All pegs are
available to park behind.
Match Fees
I require the
peg fee (£13) ASAP as it is open to all who knew Andrew and not
just current club members. Current members have first refusal and
can reply in their match booking form.
Cost: £20 on the day of the
match. £10 of this
goes to a nominated charity, £10 towards payout.
Please bring correct money please.
The Match
Please lay your nets out to dry
(weather permitting) and don't put them in the lake until 9:45 am
Fish 10am - 4pm.
See fishery rules
board.
The Weigh-in
The fishery will weigh you in.
When the scales man arrives at your peg, the requirements are that
you take your net of fish out of the water and place your fish in
the fishery weigh sling positioned by the side of your
peg.
Should you not be able to take the net out yourself a pre-designated
club member will assist you by taking your nets out for you. The
scales man will weigh them and the weight will be recorded by the
club official. The fish will be returned to the water by the
scales man. Repeat this procedure for each net of fish.
The Results
At the end of the
match please wait at the entrance to the lakes for the results
announcement and photos of the winners and presentation of the
Memorial Trophy. Any winnings will be given to you in a envelope. The results will be updated on here after the match or
the following day.
