The sixteenth and final round has been fished at the fantastic Oaks Fishery, Sessay on the Ash and Beech ponds. 15C cloudy/drizzle, odd spells of sunshine. Some good weights today considering the change of the weather now we are in Autumn.

The fifteenth and penultimate round has been fished at Tollerton Pons, York on the Heron pond. 17C cloudy and breezy at times. Some good weights today and the fish were very obliging for most.

The Andrew Archer memorial match has been fished at the fabulous Oaks Fishery at Sessay. 21C, cloudy with some sunny intervals! Plenty of PB's today as the fishing was exceptional and a good day had by all.

The fourteenth round has been fished at Lindholme Lakes, Doncaster on Benny's lake. 19C cloudy and wet with a chance of meatballs! Plenty of F1s were caught and a good day had by most.

The thirteenth round has been fished at Forest Lane, York. 22C and a breeze with the odd light shower made a change from the very hot weather of late. On the Oaklands lake for most it was a struggle to catch with foul hooking a problem most of the day.

The twelfth round has been fished at Woodlands Lakes, Thirsk. 20C and a brisk cool breeze at times, made it feel chilly. For most it was a struggle to catch except for the pegs with the wind blowing to them.

The eleventh round has been fished at Bankend fishery, Doncaster. A cloudy and damp day after days of high heat may have affected the fishing for some.

The tenth round has been fished at Springvale fishery, Bevercotes, on the Newcastle lake. A cloudy and cooler feel to the day soon changed to glorious sunshine and 26C heat in the afternoon, the fishing was very good too for most.

The ninth round has been fished at the fabulous Oaks fishery, Sessay on the Sycamore and Beech lakes, a cloudy, 21C resulted in some very good weights and P.B.'s.

The Eighth round has been fished at Bakend fishery, Doncaster on the Match lake, a sultry, cloudy day, 22C without hardly any wind made the fishing very difficult and resulted in low weights for this venue.

The Seventh round has been fished at Woodhouse Grange, Doncaster on the Heron pond, the hottest day of the year so far (tomorrow is forecast even hotter into 30+C) a warm sunny day, 28C with a slight wind to cool us off, summer has arrived! The fish were getting ready to spawn and lots of splashing and cavorting made the fishing difficult.

The Sixth Round has been fished at Tollerton Ponds, York, a warm sunny day, 20C with a strongish wind at times, summer is on its way!

Fifth Round has been fished at Springvale Fishery, Bevercotes, a warm day, 20C with a very light wind, certainly summer weather in late Spring!

Fourth Round has been fished at Forest Lane, York, a warm day, 16C with a strong (at times) wind which made it feel like winter!

Third Round has been fished at Woodhouse Grange, Doncaster, a lovely sunny day, 19C and felt sultry at times.
